This study may pave the way for a cheaper, practical and a convenient additional source of medication for second degree burn Coconut haustorium were extracted and a 50% dilution amounting to 30 ml was obtained. Six albino rabbits were inflicted with coils of wire on the gluteal region and a second degree burn was produced. One rabbit serve as the control. The burn was treated with the extract and was under observation every day for one month The results revealed a higher percentage of healing in rabbits treated with the extract which significantly proved its role in the acceleration of wound healing on second degree burns.| Cover image | Item type | Current library | Home library | Collection | Shelving location | Call number | Materials specified | Vol info | URL | Copy number | Status | Notes | Date due | Barcode | Item holds | Item hold queue priority | Course reserves | |
