The preparation, distribution and analysis of iodized salt test material containing three different levels of iodine (200.6 ppm, 72.3 ppm, and 156.2 ppm coded as materials A, B and C) which was used for the interlaboratory testing were described. Eighteen (18) participating laboratories submitted the results of iodine content on as received basis. Data generated were treated statistically following the protocol for the proficiency tests of analytical laboratories. Result of the laboratory performance from the treated data was found satisfactory. (Author) Jocelyn E.
