520 3 _aThe knowledge, attitudes, and practices of doctors, nurses, midwives employed in health centers of the City of Marikina with regards the use of Natural Family Planning (NFP) methods was investigated involving 51 respondents using a cross-sectional study design. Of the six NFP methods, the calendar method (70%) was the most provided which 76.5% of the respondents recommended. The least recommended method by the majority of the health workers was the Sympto-Thermal Method (92%). Their level of knowledge (50-60%) was the result of formal training and personal studies on NFP methods. Ten (19.6%) had formal training on NFP. A positive attitude towards NFP methods was evident in their willingness to be trained, to practice NFP, to initiate discussion and to provide the service to their clients.
